Hello any and all reading!
I have been away from the blog for a bit-- spring break and such. :)
I've been thinking a lot about the power of prayer. There are so many people who are in need of prayer right now. So much pain, so many lost, so many need God. It is sometimes easier for us to pray non-personal prayers for groups of people than it is for us to pray for individual, personal needs and to keep praying. It's not that God doesn't hear non-specific prayers-- He does-- He knows all our needs, but specific prayers are so powerful, and where two are in agreement, God hears and answers.
If you are in need of prayer or know of someone who is and would like some specific prayers, please post them here-- even anonymous is fine-- I would love to pray for you. I would also very much appreciate your prayers as well-- for my health and healing. Prayer is always heard and God is always good!

I found your blog this morning, as I was looking for devotionals on Matt 6..."do not worry." What a blessing. I've been reading post after post this morning, and can easily relate to the worrying, controlling, perfectionistic tendencies. It can dominate my life, and I have been meditating on Mt 6 just about every day for weeks. I need a continual reminder. I've never heard from anyone else who recognizes the burden of this flaw...until your blog.
Thank you for sharing.
I do have a prayer request...my sister and her husband are going through a major storm right now. He has brain cancer...terminal the doctors say. She is more of a control person than I am, and doesn't have a solid spiritual foundation. I've seen God chipping away at her self-sufficiency, but wow--it is a hard and long storm with many worries for the present and future...phyisical, emotional, material. Please pray with me for them. Thank you. I will pray for your healing as well. I know it is over a year since this post, but I will still pray.
Thank you for your post, and please know that I will pray for your sister and her husband. Prayer is a powerful thing and God can do all things, even when they seem impossible. Thank you for your prayers for me as well. Please keep me posted.
